Fun and Finale on the 4th.

Quite the 4th again!!!

Some very nice fireworks I had never seen before. Twas a very good 4th.

 

Tried to get some people in the foreground, and one flash of the stash.

Strange green lights moving quickly.

 

More 4th of July

Here are some more of 4th of July non fireworks from the family.

 

Mac's candles

Mac and his wife showed up with some interesting plastic tubes. They were going to shower a friend with their sparks but he forgot his armor.

Last night on Rough Guide's "Festivals III", they covered a celebration in China where people were showered in rockets and wore handmade armor. I think Macs original demonstration must have been based on this celebration.

Instead they sprayed their massive candles into the air, in an arc.

It made for a very nice array of sparks filling the night. The two columns to the right are fountains going off at the same time.


This is my first attempt at trying to publish from Picassa, a photo Cataloging program I highly recommend.
